Apigenin

Apigenin is a bioflavonoid compound found in various fruits, vegetables, and herbs, such as chamomile and parsley, which can help reduce stress and promote higher-quality sleep. Apigenin works by activating chloride ion channels, calming overall neuronal activity in the forebrain, and allowing the body to enter a more restful state. Research has also demonstrated that apigenin can decrease the stress hormone cortisol.
